Where will your child with autism be as an adult? Discover options for higher- and lower-functioning people with Autism to include housing, career (or job), higher education, and leisure opportunities. Our panelists will discuss these topics as well as other personal struggles and victories. A question and answer session will follow.
Meet our three panelists:
- Chris Garten (and husband)Parents of their lower-functioning adult child, who resides at home.
- Lindsey Williams UNC Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children professional with extensive experience supporting lower-functioning adults.
- Amy Dahl High-functioning adult with Autism who currently teaches high school chemistry. Dahl earned degrees from Cambridge and Stanford, including her doctorate.
